The Pixel Myth.
I found a great article on the Megapixel Myth. Good read. Especially if you are one of those that still go after really high megapixels.

New screen.
I got a new Dell screen. Not big. 20 inches, wide. It’s my first widescreen to tell you the truth. And I can’t really say I’m loving it because I am downloading the driver to set the browser to native. Right now it looks really lame. This is also the reason I haven’t posted for a while. My screen died. I used my cousin’s old screen for some essentials, and I couldn’t post here. Trust me, looking at that screen for more than 5 minutes will five you a headache. I’ve been planning on buying a new screen for a while now. And I guess my computer agreed with me, and urged me by killing my old Sony. I love how crisp this is screen is though. Really good.
In other news, I am planning on getting into CAL next year. (Yes, I know, really long URL.) And to your disappoint I’m going in for dentistry. Not IT or anything of that sort. I was really thinking about it, and I decided that IT wasn’t the way to go for me. Anyways, this CAL applying process. Really long. I have to get some teacher recommendations tomorrow. Then I have to write a lengthy essay, and afterwards there is still a chance I might not get accepted. I just went through some of the completed projects of the IT Graphics team. Some of the first websites there… don’t look too good… And on one of those websites, my little brother is on the home page! I showed it to him and he was shocked. Anyways. Done downloading the driver. I think I will go install it now.
Installing.
Done, had to restart twice. First time because I needed to change my language to English so it doesn’t install it in Russian. And then after the installation. I have one word for what my screen looks like right now. Massive. I love it. I need to change my mouse speed because it takes a while for me to drag from one side of the screen to the other. But wow. 1680×1050. Maybe a little too big, but it looks really good.
